Ukrainians migrating to Poland to work here make up a large percentage of Poland’s workforce. However, they face discrimination based on their national origin.
People in Poland aren't fully aware of how crucial migrants' work is for the economy. Being motivated to begin a discussion for a fairer world to appear, we started working on the project in October 2021. Back then, we contrasted harmful stereotypes that grow out of prejudice against the seemingly other with real data that shows what Ukrainians do for Poland. During the implementation of the project, Russia started a war in Ukraine. A huge amount of Ukrainian refugees are arriving in Poland, where they're met with heartwarming solidarity. However, conflict may still arise on the ground of the difference.
Using design as a tool for social transformation is now more relevant than ever. We want our message to reach the heart of every Polish person.
